Community Nurses

The District Nurses provide a range of nursing care needs and advice for patients who require treatment and support within the community setting. They also provide a Treatment Room service in the Health Centre through an appointments system.

A health visitor is a registered nurse who has received training particularly related to babies, children and pregnant women. Their role is to provide families with children under five years old with support and advice around the general aspects of mental, physical and social wellbeing.

Primary Care Navigator


We also with Debbie Leyden , Jane McGrath and Alison Warner.who has taken on the new role of Primary Care Navigator. They work with us and 5 other surgeries in the area to provide personalised support to the elderly, vulnerable and socially isolated members of the community.  They can help with getting access to services and activities which people may not be aware of, and can help support them through many different aspect of their lives.
